As per the Premiers announcement today, the mandatory 3 day lockdown will end at 6pm Monday 11 January 2021, meaning Capalaba Park is back to business as normal. However, some precautions remain in Greater Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Redlands, Logan and Ipswich council areas for 10 days until 1am on Friday 22nd January.

Queensland Health precautions that relate to retail after 6pm on Monday 11th January include the following:

  • Masks must be worn at Capalaba Park. This includes all retail stores and services.
  • Retail food services including pubs, restaurants, cafes and fast food outlets can operate, however customers must be seated to eat and drink.
  • Hairdressers, spas, nail salons, beauty salons, waxing salons, tanning salons and tattoo parlors can re-open.
  • Massage parlors can re-open.
  • Libraries can re-open.
  • If the business is over 200m2 you can have one person per 4m2
  • If the business is 200m2 or less, you can have one person per 2m2 (maximum of 50 people)

  • Wear a fitted face mask
  • Wash & sanitise your hands regularly
  • Maintain social distancing
